Who We Are

We are a non-denominational, Spirit-filled, Spirit-led Church. C3 Church is built on the passion of personal connection with Jesus Christ, His family, and His Word.

Pastors Matthew and Angel Anderson dreamed of a place where people could know God in a real, living way and grow together in faith. The mission and focus of C3 Church is a place to BELONG and BECOME. This focus and mission is part of everything that we do. C3 Church speaks of home to those who visit. From the beginning, C3 has focused on reaching those who do not know Jesus Christ in a personal way. Spirit-filled worship and prayer, followed by life-giving messages of the Gospel, that apply to our everyday lives, have been our trademark from day one. C3 believes that there is no replacement for the Holy Spirit and God's Word to transform our lives.

Where We Are Going!

C3 Church has a passion for walking out our faith generationally, locally, and globally. We are committed to the Kingdom of God being released in freshness and boldness as the Lord continues to lead us in relevant ways to reach our communities and the world. We continue to walk knowing that God is directing our steps into becoming all that God is creating C3 Church to be.

At this present time, C3 Church is a growing congregation at both Ellsworth and Hudson locations as well as ministries, staff, and leadership. We desire to launch a third campus in the coming years.

STEPS to Belong and Become, or "Steps Class", is an opportunity to see how you can join arms with C3 Church. We would love to participate in your journey of finding a church family to BELONG to, so you can BECOME all that God has created you to be.  We are delighted that you are considering taking this journey with us! Steps Class is a one-day, hour-and-a-half-long class where we dive deeper into who we are, where we've been, and where we are going. After the class concludes you will have the opportunity to partner with us and become a member of C3 Church.

Statements of Faith

  • We believe in the infallible, inspired Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 - "All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right."
  • We believe in one God, revealed as Triune in being: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Deut. 6:14 - “You must not worship any of the gods of neighboring nations"

1 Tim. 3:16 - "Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ was revealed in a human body and vindicated by the Spirit. He was seen by angels and announced to the nations. He was believed in throughout the world and taken to heaven in glory.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ who is the union of God and man.
Matthew 1:23 - "Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

Hebrews 7:25-26 - "Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf. He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven."
  • We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
Eph. 2:8-9 - "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it."

Heb. 9:12 - "With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever."

Heb. 9:22 - "In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness."

Acts 2:38 - "Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
  • We believe in water baptism by immersion as the first obedient act of a regenerate believer.
Matt 28:19 - “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 2:38 - “Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 19:1-6 - “While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior regions until he reached Ephesus, on the coast, where he found several believers. “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” he asked them. “No,” they replied, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” “Then what baptism did you experience?” he asked. And they replied, “The baptism of John.” Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.” As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.”
  • We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and subsequent salvation. This is an endowment of power given by God to anoint the believer for sanctification and evangelism.
Acts 2:1-4 - “On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.”

Acts 8:14-17 - “When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God’s message, they sent Peter and John there. As soon as they arrived, they prayed for these new believers to receive the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.”
  • We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper.
1 Cor. 11:23-32 - “For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this in remembrance of me as often as you drink it.” For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again. So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. That is why you should examine yourself before eating the bread and drinking the cup. For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself. That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died. But if we examined ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way. Yet when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned along with the world.”
  • We believe in the literal second coming of our Lord.
Rev. 22:1-7 - “Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street. On each side of the river grew a tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, with a fresh crop each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations. No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads. And there will be no night there—no need for lamps or sun—for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever. Then the angel said to me, “Everything you have heard and seen is trustworthy and true. The Lord God, who inspires his prophets, has sent his angel to tell his servants what will happen soon.” “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who obey the words of prophecy written in this book. ”
  • We believe and affirm the biblical definition of marriage as being between one man and one woman.
Genesis 2:21-24 - “So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and he brought her to the man. “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’” This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.”
  • We believe from the beginning God created two separate and distinct biological sexes: male and female.
Genesis 1:26-27 (NLT) - "So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

Matthew 19:4 (NLT) - “Haven’t you read the Scriptures?” Jesus replied. “They record that from the beginning ‘God made them male and female.’ ” '

Mark 10:6-9 (NLT) - "But ‘God made them male and female’ from the beginning of creation. ‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”

Pslams 139:14 (NLT) - "Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it."
  • We believe that all human life is valuable and sacred, and that human life and full personhood begins at conception and continues until death.

Job 31:15 (NLT) - "For God created both me and my servants. He created us both in the womb."

Psalms 22:10 (NLT) - "I was thrust into your arms at my birth. You have been my God from the moment I was born."

Pslams 127:3-5 (NLT) - "Children are a gift from the Lord ; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates."

Psalms 139:13-16 (NLT) - "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed."

Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT) - “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.”

Acts 17:24-25 (NLT) - "He is the God who made the world and everything in it. Since he is Lord of heaven and earth, he doesn’t live in man-made temples, and human hands can’t serve his needs—for he has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and he satisfies every need."
